I give up.

Time after time I come back to this thing meaning to make a fresh start, and I just don't seem to have the inclination or time to really post stuff about my life anymore or give everyone on my f-list the attention they deserve.

So even though it pains me to say it, this is it I think. I'll be using this journal to post fanvids and fanfic, but not much about me at all. I may even just set up another journal someday.

I desperately want to make a go of this, but I just can't manage it around work, college and the little social life I have.

I'm sorry guys, to anyone who still remembers me. I'll be on msn, and I may even comment you sometimes but...

Damnit.

Well...I'm in ICT, meant to be doing work...and instead I'm on this!

And now, plans for the weekend...

First of all - work! Then I'm going to see the play Thanatophobia with Lizzie, which is something about a girl who's afraid of death or something...I'm not really sure, I'm just going to keep Lizzie company.

Then I have a joint 18th birthday party to go to, so that should be fun - I'm already broke from buying £40 worth of presents for them....Alex got a Monty Python DVD and sweets, and Sarah got an Impulse boxset and chocolate.

Sunday's free...but I'm going to book up to see David Tennant in Hamlet and John Barrowman on his tour!

Yes. Well. That didn't go as planned. So much for my renewed enthusiasm on this thing...I've hardly posted at all!

So yes, I'm having a little trouble getting back in the LJ flow of things, especially remembering to keep an eye on my Friends page (>.<) So sorry about that!

Fingers crossed I get something interesting to write about soon. So far, all I have is the news that I have a new crush...which is boring for you all to hear about!...and the universities I've applied for now;

Well, the wintercompanion fest is finally over, so maybe I can get some sleep now. For any Ten/Jack lovers out there, you should check it out - the stuff posted there was awesome!

On life...funny thing yesterday! All of us were going to go Exmouth beach for the day and get the last train back, so me and a friend went down later because we didn't want to be on the beach for ten hours. But when we got there, we found they'd all gone to Dawlish Warren instead...which is in the complete opposite direction, lol! We made it back for the evening barbeque on the beach, but only just!

AS results...not as good as I'd hoped. I got an A in English Lit (with 100% on one of the papers!) and in Geography, but only a B in Maths and Human Biology. We all got screwed in IT (they raised the grade boundaries because it was so easy!), and I got stuck with a C. Boo.

For someone needing three grade A A-levels to get into Oxford, this is not good....I'm going to have to work my socks off next year. I may be doing four A levels instead of the usual three in order to give me a spare, but it's still not good at all...

Well, for anyone who does remember me, I'm back! It's been nearly a year since I used this, and there's a very good reason for that...several, actually.

Firstly, I got extremely busy with work and school/college. I always intended to come back, but then I had a crisis of faith.......

I fell out of nearly every single one of my fandoms.

For some reason, I lost interest in basically everything I had been into before. Doctor Who, Torchwood, Stargate, KKM, CCS, TRC, X....everything. And I had no idea what to do, so I basically gave up on writing,reading and vidding, and played computer games/watched DVDs for a few months.

Then I started to miss talking to people, so I was going to come back when my gran had two strokes. That was two months ago, and whilst she still can't use her left side, she's in a home now so its easier to manage to find time between work and visiting her.

I've finally got back into most of my fandoms again, although to my confusion most of my anime/manga ones aren't affecting me as strongly as they used to (like TRC - ye gods, I love KuroFai but can't bring myself to read it or write it anymore). 

But the point is, I'm back. And if anyone still remembers me, sorry for skipping out and I'm going to try to get this thing back on track.
